Responsibilities: • Provide expert knowledge of the Liquid Logic (LAS) and ContrOCC systems to current and new team members • Build complex and highly informative performance and intelligence reports using SQL, SQL Server Reporting Studio (SSRS), and Power BI • Teach new members of the team how to use SQL and SSRS in relation to both LAS and ContrOCC • Conceptualise, design, and build a Residential Care Power BI dashboard that enables up to the minute performance intelligence to be provided to heads of service and corporate directors to aid strategic decision making • Gave assistance to the Adult Social Care Performance Manager to meet the expectations of senior managers within Adult Social Care strengthening the reputation of the performance team within the Adult Social Care service • Provide expert knowledge on the NHS Digital statistical returns, most notably SALT, SAC, and ASC-FR so that these can be delivered a significant time before the mandatory deadline with little to no change needed for the second cut (where applicable)

Interim senior manager of newly created team of 9 analysts to build and develop a highly reactive performance function across three key areas of the organisation (Public Health, Adult Social Care, and Community Safety). Used knowledge and management experience to lay the groundwork for effective performance management whilst playing a key role in the beginning of the wider business intelligence strategy.
Responsibilities: • Developed the strategic approach for the Health, Adults & Communities (HAC) Intelligence and Performance Team following a complete restructure of the intelligence and performance function • Built strong lasting relationships with heads of service and corporate directors, identifying needs and agreeing expectations for delivery • Set the strategy for the development of the HAC Performance & Intelligence Team into a well-rounded performance function, identifying strengths and weaknesses and how these would be addressed moving forward • Had the challenging conversations with managers, heads of service, and corporate directors around the difficulties the team had in delivery prior to my arrival and ensured that reputation of the team was restored by delivery of accurate, timely, and useful reporting • Envisaged, designed, built, and ed key performance frameworks that set the standard for the team. Provided guidance as to how these reports were constructed and afforded knowledge and expertise to the team in building future reports • Was part of the senior management team that began to develop the business intelligence reporting strategy with the aim of providing an intelligence tool for the whole of London Borough of Tower Hamlets to use • Ensured that the HAC team was fit for purpose, developing permanent staff members and recruiting expert interim staff where appropriate • Designed, developed and built reporting dashboards on the Pentana performance system and ensured that these dashboards were kept up-to-date
