The research lab has numerous reseach directions on both music technology and scientific paradygms of music. 

Since August 2015, I have received a research grant attributed by the Brazilian gouvernment (CNPq). I have been developping processes related to machine learning, and specifically with the process of recognition through styles or emotions.

The main lines of my current research are:

• Study of the hierachical classification

• Study of the process on musical emotion classification

• Application of the hierarchy approach on the musical emotion classification

• Experimentations of the processes previously applied

• Notification, and publication of the processes

My internship was in the unit in charge of the development and operational support. I was a part of the WikiDEV team during the time of the migration phase of the data into a new space. The project was following the internal politics for modernize the whole device on the perimeter of information managment. The new setting was in agreement with the process of development asked by the direction.

My first research at the Lab was about the recognition of the music styles based on the analyse of partitions. The idea has been developed and supervised by my teachers. The study resulted in the formation of a database partitions, and the proposal of the important characteristics for their classification.
