As well as this, I also took on new projects and had a bigger part in

Working at, I was
given the freedom to explore and develop my own ideas. Since this was an
SME, my ideas could be implemented quickly, giving me the ability to
see the immediate effect of my work and how I could further grow the
organisation's digital marketing.

In this role, my main tasks included:

Customer Insights
•    Daily PPC reports using Google Analytics, Google Ads and Bing Ads

    Weekly Data Packs – Monitoring competitors and ensuring
differentiation, keeping track of how our customers are reaching us and
why they are choosing Blackcircles
•    Suggesting and implementing ideas based on findings

Content – SEO
•    Write articles for the website and social - helping improve SEO and customer engagement
•    Assisting team copywriter in creating content for tyre models and monthly newsletter
•    Review, Approve and Publish Tyre and Garage Reviews

Customer Conversation
•    Engage customers in conversation on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube
•    Respond & investigate customer service issues
•    Monitoring social media after work and weekends
•    Post frequently to keep customers engaged and create a dialogue through posts

Raising Awareness of Blackcircles
•    Own day to day incentives, competitions and giveaways
•    Manage competitions with tyre partners
•    Speak to winners of competitions
•    Encourage Social dialogue and sharing
•    Frequently try new methods of reaching greater audience

Scottish Independent Advocacy AllianceJanuary 2015 - August 2015

My position at Scottish Independent
Advocacy Alliance (SIAA) was an internship where I was tasked with
raising the awareness of independent advocacy through marketing. I
achieved this through creating digital content using a variety of
channels matched to the clients’ needs, including weekly e-bulletin
emails, establishing new social media channels and expanding the SIAA
website. My internship also involved brand development, preparation of
detailed strategy reports and regularly presenting my findings to other
advocacy organisations around Scotland. Duties included:

•    Development of the SIAA’s brand including website and social media traffic growth.
•    Communicating and presenting my ideas and plans to a variety of different stakeholders.
•    Producing a detailed communication and marketing strategy report with a plan of action to carry out once I left my post.
•    Creation and implementation of a house style guide.

    Using tools such as Survey Monkey, Mail Chimp, HTML coding, WordPress
and Microsoft packages such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
•    Liaising with other advocacy organisations when gathering research.

As a customer assistant I took great pride in providing a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service to both customers and colleagues. Through displaying positivity, leadership skills and dedication towards working as part of a team, I was able to deliver exceptional customer care to the highest possible standards. Responsibilities included checkout operations, stock control and replenishment, answering customer queries, taking orders face to face and over the phone, cash handling, store opening at 4am and closing at 11pm, as well as acting as an ambassador for Boots values. Working airside at an airport I also dealt with a large and diverse consumer base.
