Renesas is one of the largest semiconductor suppliers in the world, formed through a combination of joint venture and merger between Hitachi, Mitsubishi and NEC semiconductor divisions. Worked with the Synergy Business Division (SYBD), which was established to deliver an integrated development platform for embedded and IoT projects powered by Renesas' ARM-based microcontrollers. The resulting Synergy Platform, launched in September 2015, was the first Renesas product not originated in Japan by the parent company and a key to transforming Renesas from a component supplier to a platform provider.
* Facilitating weekly meetings with the SYBD executive team to identify strategy, tactical and operational gaps; recommend solutions; and drive sustainable improvements * Conceived integrated go-to-market alignment strategy for the launch of the Synergy Platform, leveraging a combination of Pragmatic Marketing and other best practice methodologies; socialized approach and secured buy-in from SYBD, corporate and regional executives * Defined and established global beta program, including strategy, process, infrastructure, roles and responsibilities, cadence and metrics * Acted as liaison between the SYBD and regional partners, balancing the need to keep SYBD engineering and marketing resources focused on product development and content creation while fully supporting regional early access customer and GTM readiness requirements. Facilitated weekly meetings with regional GTM teams and monthly meetings between SYBD and regional executives to ensure alignment * Established regular analytics and regional reporting process to measure Renesas Synergy adoption and inform decision-making * Created Professor_IoT persona to spur Renesas Synergy developer engagement and published weekly blog * Managed Global Product Team and Success Story Library programs.
