As a User Experience Designer I had the opportunity to help companies ranging from pre-founding to well established create interfaces and workflows that met the needs of their users and their business.
My activities included workshops to understand buisness needs, goals and strategy, user research to understand pain points and user needs, workshops to teach startups, founders and innovation departments about user experience principles and practices as well as user journey mapping and finally wireframing.

1. Product ManagerMobile Apps - Android and iOS: March 2016 - Present
I lead a cross functional team of developers, designers, and researchers to discover and develop holistic experiences that enhance the creation and presentations of prezis.
Web - Acquisition and Customer Engagement: February 2014 - February 2016
I lead a cross-functional team of designers and developers to create web experiences that delight users and benefit the business.
I am working to revamp the brand image and registration process which has so far resulted in a xx% increase in revenue.
I continuously generate, manage and prioritize product vision and roadmap for the website and beyond.
2. User Experience ResearcherAs a researcher in a fast growing start-up I worked with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, analysts and product managers to provide user insights that informed decisions at every stage of the product development process.
To generate ownership and accountability, I ran workshops with my team members to ideate and evaluate design patterns. The workshops served to build trust and to kick off projects with whole team involvement.
In response to questions about feature prioritization I created a Customer Journey Map depicting the path a user takes and where the biggest points of friction exist.
Method is a brand experience agency, creating innovative user experiences in a variety of different sectors.
While at Method I participated in the research phase of an ongoing user experience design project; interviewing stakeholders, and speaking with focus group participants about their goals and tasks. I helped synthesize interview research and re-design the site architecture for a major financial client.
I also worked closely with a team that was innovating in the Connected Television space. I Interviewed stakeholders to learn the motivation and intent behind the product vision. Based on research provided by the internal team I generated detailed user types that I used to map the entire company product portfolio.
Mills International CenterFebruary 2009 - December 2009
The Mills International Center offered a great cultural resource to University Students. I planned and organized events such as World Poetry Night, hosted guest speakers and language circles as well as
the weekly International Coffee Hour.
