My responsibilities
* Developing infrastructure systems that serve millions of DAUs
* Managing a development team working in an Agile setup
* Creating and planning the team roadmap on a quarterly basis
* Prioritising feature requests and aligning expectations across departments

About the company
At Jobzy, we are building the go-to place for job seekers who value a low commute time.
The product has undergone various stages, starting off as an Axure prototype, which we used to validate certain features, then to a working prototype, a beta version (plenty of learning there) and finally to a fully functional and marketable product.

My responsibilities
• Defined the product based on in-depth user feedback and competition analysis
• Developed the business model & go-to-market strategy
• Released timely features that doubled our conversion rate
• Optimised our user acquisition channels
• Coded the front-end part of the website

In this period, I created two mobile apps from scratch, managing the entire product development process, from initial scoping and estimation up to wireframing, coding both frontend and backend using a BaaS solution. I also managed the publishing process on the Google Play Store.

• Setting up backend services using Parse (BaaS)
• Creating wireframes to communicate product vision and win clients

Debugging and developing patches for bugs that occurred in the company’s products were part of a normal day's work. In this period, I also became accustomed with writing technical documentation and configuring and installing virtual machines.

Network surveillance, 1st level restoration and preventative maintenance
- Monitoring, performing troubleshooting, fault acknowledgement and fault analysis for Billing, CRM and Provisioning systems for telecom operators using various applications (SingleView, PeopleSoft, TTMS, Provident, Cacti)
- Managing fault resolutions and service deliveries for BSS in the production environment
- Working with the application for trouble ticket management
- Maintaining the service delivery level within the agreed SLAs
- Providing resolutions to service requests and faults identified by other area or raised via a corporate system that relate to BSS systems
- Solving standard problems in the BSS area based on the existing procedures
- Interpreting / understanding technical information and preparing technical documentation
- Interaction with other Technicians, customer technical staff and other groups within Service Delivery organization ( Back Office, EDM, other Front Office teams)
- Controling and managing complex technical situations/projects in a calm and professional manner (required to provide technical input in technical conference bridges)
- Working in an international environment, with customers and suppliers
- Effectively using telecom knowledge to manage faults and customer demands
