HouseOfCurlingPins.comMay 2020 - Présent

https://HouseOfCurlingPins.com is a Curling pin collectors reference site.

The site is entirely responsive. Development is entirely hand-coded HTML and CSS. There is a bit of Javascript that inserts the header and navigation bar on each page as it loads (because who wants to have to manage duplicated navigation code on hundreds of pages!?!?).
Media queries trigger at smaller screen sizes to swap out the navigation bar with the drop-down mega menu's for an identical navigation bar that has regular old hyperlinks loading each of the mega menu's as a navigation page instead of a drop-down (the drop-down navigation is too complicated for mobile).

I took the opportunity to update my web design and development skills by researching FlexBox and CSS Grid as well as re-familiarizing myself with JavaScript. I'm starting to explore other interesting languages and tools, like Python and Node.js, etc.

This was a LOT of fun to put together. I've still got tweaks to do before moving into the next bit of work... but, really, is a website ever "done"?

Launching for others was the end of Phase I. The end game is a dynamic, database driven site with generated pages and membership functionality specifically focused on pin collecting (such as generating a Needs List).
