(Remote) Developed a custom WordPress theme for a french personal finances coaching blog. Did a complete responsive redesign of the blog using latest techs and added microdatas to make sure every aspect is fully categorized for crawlers to improve SEO. I've ensured that the theme's assets were fully optimized (bundled with Webpack) and light weight for an end result of a few kb of CSS and JS. I chose not to include any UI framework to preserve performance as the blog's business model is based on advertisement. Ad scripts and WordPress external plugins already tend to bring down performance so I wanted to provide the best experience for users and to avoid this domain being impacted negatively by Google.
Assets serving will soon be cached/optimized by CloudFlare.
WordPress Boilerplate (PressPack by Jared Palmer, based on Docker, Webpack, Yarn), ES6, HTML5, CSS3

I also took the lead on the re-redesign of the app and developed a proper style-guide to keep styles centralized and consistent. A great opportunity to learn from everyone in an international context with colleagues from Portugal, The Netherlands, Cyprus, Lebanon, UAE
