I was responsible for the business’s test strategy to provide technical leadership to test team to produce a high-performing quality product.
Key Achievement - Implemented stability check tests for production environments to constantly monitor and detect system outage to reduce mean time to detect, respond and resolve. - Implementing testing infrastructural, framework and tooling changes to accommodate modular test frameworks. - Reduced UI automation and manual regression pack by shifting left and focusing on exploratory and key user journey based E2E testing. - Implemented Test Result Service (TRS) to help understand the product and to help present the state of the product to stakeholders from different angles. - Implementing Test Data Service (TDS) to improve the way test data is managed enabling better, faster, reliable, secure and maintainable tests. - Helped establish a long-term baseline for APIs and application performance by designing performance test frameworks to validate the impact of code and infrastructural changes over time.
Responsibilities - Working closely with senior management and architects to implement test strategy at various levels to improve quality. - Documenting decisions, progress impact analysis of tests running in production. - Managing a team of senior and principal developers in test. - Advocating and implementing shift left test strategy. - Mentoring and coaching to develop technical skills within the testing platform and development teams. - Designing and developing tools, libraries, and processes to support achieve CI and CD. - Analyzing current processed and practices and suggest/drive improvements. - Making continuous improvements to test coverage, execution, and automation. - Design, architect and implement robust full build/deploy/test automation process for the company’s multi-tenancy cloud architecture based web application.
I was responsible for designing and developing automation test tools and frameworks along with scripting tests using ASP .NET, .NET Core, C#, Specflow, Selenium and other automation tools.
Key Achievements - Helped Company to reduce the cost and time (from weeks to hours) required in conducting tests for its tracking devices. - Successfully implemented CI and CD processes. - Developed project planning and management skills by completing several projects successfully and managing a team of test automation developers. - Further developed professional, interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
