• Provide consultation services on big data, analytics and search implementations for customers: R2P UK (bus data), RS Components (wholesale), Charles Stanley (investment) and Whitbread PLC (hotel). • Designed, planned and managed the development of custom search solutions for each customer by engaging internal and external stakeholders. • Was responsible for all product ownership activities for knitting and hobby products e-commerce website, www.hobium.com, having 20,000 products in 300 categories in two different languages.• Converted the company culture from an intuition-based approach to a data-driven approach in less than two years by initiating and managing the development of a business intelligence & forecasting system and activity dashboards, which became the company’s primary operational business tool. • Led market research and benchmark analysis, improving the mobile responsive design and general UX, as well as the new sales and marketing channels, resulting in triple the sales and double the conversion rates. • Conducted the KPI identification and calculation processes for the first time in company history. CAC, CLV and different KPI’s were calculated and tracked, also establishing an iterative development culture.
• Had ownership of DISAP (social media data collection and analysis system), collecting 20 million records daily and having a modern web client for analysing >700 million data records in six modules. • Led and supported five developers and a UX designer in an agile approach using JIRA. • Handled the customer surveys, along with market research; customers were engaged throughout the development by in an iterative cycle using a feedback loop mechanism along with an MVP strategy.
